We worked with the UK’s leading infrastructure safety enterprise to solve a critical problem. With over 1,800 employees and an annual turnover exceeding £200 million, the company specialises in urban and high-speed traffic management, arboriculture, barrier services, and digital solutions. They need failsafe technology to ensure the safety of their workforce and the public.

The challenge

Rapid expansion through amalgamating eight companies was proving challenging. They were struggling to manage multiple suppliers for their mobile services, and they faced uncontrollable costs. 

Their primary account was on an unsuitable tariff, leading to escalating bills. It was also poorly managed, resulting in numerous unused mobile numbers and excessive data usage.

The solution

We designed a bespoke solution using Microsoft Intune and Jamf Trust to manage their devices, SIMs, MDM, and device set up. Then we negotiated a more suitable tariff with controlled monthly bills.

To keep things simple we merged all eight companies into one easy-to-manage account.

We also developed a bespoke database that tracks activity and offers daily reporting and usage alerts. Our dedicated account manager regularly meets with the customer to report on our services and improvements – a level of service that’s unmatched by any other provider.

For another part of the group we provided and managed the 8×8 telephony system to replace an outdated BT One Phone system.

The result

The customer now has fully scalable mobile accounts. We continue to suggest improvements and keep them informed about the latest industry developments, allowing them to stay ahead of their competition.

Our efforts have cut their costs by over £200,000, showcasing the effectiveness of our managed mobile services.
